Hi this is Marcus Hunter with the
Sterling Insurance group and I’m here with my good friend Ben Lauer. Glad to have you with us here today. Glad to be here. Alright fantastic. Ben’s going to help answer
some questions for us in regard to real estate. So stay tuned and we’ll be right
back and he’ll give us some answers for some very important questions I’m sure you’ll be interested in hearing. Ben as much as we’d like to have an ideal
situation in selling a home it doesn’t always just work out
very easily we talked about earlier in some of our earlier questions it can be stressful period of time.
What are some of the issues of pitfalls that can arise that a selling needs to anticipate? One of the things I always try to encourage my
sellers to do is make sure that your home is in good
condition both in the cosmetics and under the surface. What a lot of people don’t or
forget to account for is that you’re going to have an inspector come
through and look at the home tests all the major in’s and out’s and make sure that everything is working properly. If you can get to that stuff and find it
and fix it before the inspector comes through, it’s going to be much less costly for you it’s going to be much less stressful down the road so I always tell people make sure that you know what’s wrong
with your home and get it taken care of. That’s great advise to be prepared and make sure that as a
inspectors come to the house your not encouraging him to find additional things to be fixed right? Yeah don’t give him anything to complain about. Okay fantastic, thanks Ben we appreciate it. No problem. Call the Sterling Insurance Group for all your insurance needs and Ben Lauer as a reliable realtor in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
